Show Legion Groups Hold Outing The American Legion and Auxiliary Aux-iliary held an outing on the Yellowstone Yel-lowstone River Saturday night. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Jones, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. E. Clark, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Rochel, Clyde Lambert, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Weeks, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Young, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Case, Mrs. Jesse Palm, Mrs. Bert Fowler, Fow-ler, Mr. and Mrs. Max Allred of Boneta, Mr. and Mrs. Jewell Kolb of Altamont and Harold Birch of Mt. Home. After the business was taken care of, supper was served and the evening spent in visiting. Mrs. Ed Olsen, Johnnie Smith and some friends, of Artesia, Colo, were in Altonah a few days the latter part of the week. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Dunsmore were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Rust in Bluebell Wednesday evening. Those from Altonah attending District convention of the American Ameri-can Legion and Auxiliary at My-ton My-ton on Sept. 18th were Mr. and Mrs. Earl Dunsmore, Mrs. Maxine Clark, Mrs. Lola Jones, Mrs. Helen Palm and Clyde Lambert. The Altamont Baseball team, sponsored by the Altonah American Legion, was presented two trophies. One was presented by Eve Ashton and the other by Jack Harmston. Bishop J. Arthur Timothy, Lin-ford Lin-ford Maxfield, Mrs. Margaret Reay, Mrs. Margaret Maxfield attended at-tended a church welfare meeting at Mr. Emmons, Thursday night. Mrs. LaVerda St. Jar Ross, of Salt Lake City, whose husband hus-band is employed at Altamont on the new high school, was visiting friends in Altonah Thursday. Mrs. Ross was a former resident of A1-' tonah. Among those she visited were Mrs. Minnie Maxfield and Mrs. Vendetta Clark. |
