Show Changes Made The Relief Society presidency should be commended on the changes made in the Relief Society room in the church house. The members have rallied to the cause and have succeeded in making the kitchen more modern new floor covering, cupboards and an electric elec-tric stove have been added. A nice move, now would be to get water. I have an idea the bishop will be hearing about it before long. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Ross spent a few days in Salt Lake visiting and taking care of business. They attended the Ice Follies while there. Mrs. Hale Holgate went to Roosevelt Roos-evelt Friday to see Mrs. Sarah Neil'son, of Myton, who is in the Roosevelt Hospital. Stake Sunday School visitors were Earl Van Tassell and Foster Rhoades, of Tabiona. R. G. Ross spent the weekend in Salt Lake. Mrs. Gail Eldredge returned to her home in Vernal, after spending a week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Johnson. Mr and Mis. Clarence Horrocks, Marva Mae and Evan went to Vernal, Ver-nal, Sunday, where they were dinner din-ner guests of Mrs. Elsie D. Workman. Work-man. The occasion was in honor of Clarence's birthday. Mrs. John Gilbert and Mrs. Charlie Jensen went to Provo Wednesday. Wed-nesday. Mr. and Mrs. Kent Jensen and Mrs. Byron Gilbert and children chil-dren returned home with them. R. G. Ross was taking care of business in Vernal Monday. Carol Larsen went to Lehi to help cheer the victorious Cougars, who played Lehi, Friday. Mrs. Fred Pope and Fay Pope, of Duchesne, spent Sunday at the home of Chad Evans. Beverly Olsen and her sister, Mrs. Neldon Johansen, spent Thursday up toward Moon Lake i on a very successful chokecherry hunt. There seems to be an abundance abun-dance of this well-like wild fruit this year. |
