ROWLEY, newlyweds, who were complimented at a wedding reception Sept. 16, following their marriage in the SaltlLake LDS Temple. They will make a home in Roosevelt, Route 1. Edward Marion Rowly claimed Miss Dorothy Mildred Beck as his bride in rites exchanged before President EIray L. Christiansen, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple Thursday, September 15. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Hildegarde A. Beck of St. Louis, Missouri. Mr. . and Mrs. Clarence M Rowley are parents of the bridegroom Following their marriage the newlyweds were feted at a breakfast break-fast at the home of the groom's sister, Mrs. G. L. Taylor of Provo. A reception complimented the justweds September 16 at the Roosevelt Stake House, where the bride greeted guests in her wedding gown of white nylon lace underscored under-scored with nylon tulle. Her veil of sheer bride's illusion fell from a lace Juliet cap enhanced with white rainbow sequins and tiny seed pearl's. She held a bouquet of red roses and white carnations. Attending the bride as maid of honor was Miss Phyllis Rowley who wore an aqua faille frock, trimmed with white lace-collar and cuffs. The bridesmaids, Miss Sharon Shar-on Stewart and Miss Ruth Anderson, Ander-son, chose aqua and biege lace over satin. Corsages for all attendants atten-dants were of roses and carnations. Mother of the bride wore a gown of medium blue lace over satin, while the bridegroom's mother moth-er selected a navy blue taffeta with red trim. Both had carnation corsages. Performing best man duties was Thomas E. Rowley, brother of the groom. Directing the guest book signing sign-ing was Miss Mary Rudy. Mrs. Harold Timothy was in charge of serving and attending the gift room were Mrs. Bill Ostler and Mrs. Alma Wills. A program was presented for the many guests who called with Ralph Shields acting as master of ceremonies for the occasion, announcing an-nouncing the following numbers, vocal duets, Mrs. Sheldon Fitzgerald Fitz-gerald and Bennie Schmiett, accompanied ac-companied by Mrs. Schmiett; banjo ban-jo and guitar medley, by Charles Glines and Mr. Simmons; readings and musical selections. Ora Pate Stewart and daughter, Sharon; vocal solos, Grant Peel; piano solo and background music, Miss Marilyn Anderson, and vocal solo, Clark Oarum. The newlyweds, who met at the Brigham Young University, will, make their home in Roosevelt, Route 1. Out-of-town visitors attending the reception were as follows: Mrs. Hildegarde A. Beck and John W. Beck St. Louis, Missouri; Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Rowley and family, of Preston, Idaho; Mrs. Ora Pate Stewart, Sharon Stewart and Wen-dey Wen-dey Stewart, all of Long Beach, Calif.; Mr. Joseph R. L. DeVictoria, New York City; Miss Ruth Anderson, An-derson, Salt Lake City; and Mr. and Mrs. E. G. Pate, Midvale, Utah. While in Roosevelt, these visitors visit-ors were guests at the C. M. Rowley residence. |
