Show L10HTIVELL Bettie Mower Church Notes The Sunday School gave a very nice Easter program Sunday morning under the direction of Douglas Brown. Speakers at Sacrament meeting Sunday evening were Paul Barton, Floyd Labrum and Alden White. Primary Preparation meeting was held Monday evening. Those present were Effie Taylor, Verda Blanchard, Mary Roberts, Evelyn Roberts, Ila Larsen, Karen Woodward Wood-ward and May Mower. The Sunday School held their faculty meeting Wednesday evening, eve-ning, after which a party was given giv-en in honor of Frank Thompson who has just been released as Sunday School superintendent and sustained in the bishopric. The Cub Scouts so far enrolled in Montwel ward are: Ronnie Taylor, Tay-lor, Lonnie and Arvin Roberts and Leslie Brown. Kindergarten started over in the Neola School. Those attending from Montwel are: Ernie and Brent Brown, Ethelyn and Kennie Blanchard, Carma Woodward, Rita Lynn Hamblin, Sharon Hullinger, Shirley Mower and Parley Alexander. Alex-ander. Mr. and Mrs. Moreland Thompson Thomp-son and family, of Providence, Utah, have been visiting their parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Thompson. Thomp-son. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Brown and Bettie Mower, who are attending the USAC at Logan, were home over the weekend. Larry Nelson and a friend, Jim Hand, visited at the Max Nelson home a few days before returning to California, where they have joined the Coast Guard. |
