Show Mrs. Elsie Bird ATTEND PARTY The High Priest party that was held Friday night at Duchesne was well attended from Arcadia. Those attending were President and Mrs. Hale Holgate, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bird, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Ross, Mr. and Mrs. T. M. Gilbert, Mr. and Mrs. Gam Gilbert, Gil-bert, Mr. and Mrs. John Gilbert, and Mr. and Mrs. Chad Evans. Mrs. Gladys Ross, Mrs. Barbara Bar-bara Ross and children of Myton, Mrs. Arlene Labrum and children of Roosevelt were Eastering at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin G. Shields. Mrs. Gladys Ross and Mrs. Barbara Ross and children also visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bird. Mrs. Bernice Calvin and children chil-dren spent a few days at the home of her sister, Mrs. Charles Jensen, returning to her home Saturday. Bob remained for a longer visit. Mr. and Mrs. Boyde Gledhill and family of Hunstville spent Sunday and Monday visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Scot Lusty and other old friends. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Fritkan and family visited Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Hor-rocks. Hor-rocks. Mrs. Fritkan is Clarence's sister. Mr. and Mrs. George Chorn and baby of Salt Lake City visited visit-ed over the weekend at the home of Mrs. Cynthia Larsen. They had their new baby boy blessed at Sacrament meeting, by her uncle, James O. Larsen. He will be known as Paul Arthur. Mrs. Rose Gilbert was an overnight over-night guest Saturday of Mrs. Ora Holgate. They attended the shower at Tabiona for Mrs. Coy Harmon. Mrs. Lurrine Duncan and chil- dren of Neola, Mr. and Mrs. S. O. Solomonson of Roosevelt were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bird Thursday. Steele Lusty of Salt Lake City spent the weekend at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Lusty. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Miller, Miss Shauna Gilbert of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Arvin Bellon and children of Roosevelt, visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Gilbert over the weekend. Mrs. Rose Gilbert visited them Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. La Nor Richens and family visited Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Scot Lusty and other friends and relatives in Myton. Lonnie Larsen of Salt Lake City visited over the weekend, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James O. Larsen. The following ladies attended Primary Preparation meeting in Duchesne, Sunday: Mrs. Elsie Bird, Mrs. Gladys Capson. Mrs. Barbara Gilbert, Miss Mildred Bird, Mrs. Ora Holgate, Miss Marva Hor-rocks, Hor-rocks, Miss Eleanor Capson and Bishop Gam Gilbert, priesthood representative. Mrs. Merle Ross made a business busi-ness trip to Vernal, Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Hale Holgate went to Vernal Saturday morning where Hale gave a radio address. Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bird, Mr. and Mrs. Hale Holgate visited Saturday Sat-urday with Mr. and Mrs. Emery Nielson in Myton. R. G. Ross came in from Salt Lake City, where he is attending the University of Utah, to spend the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Ross. Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Hadden and baby, of Myton, attended Sacrament meeting here Sunday evening. Mrs. Merle Ross and Donna visited vis-ited Sunday with Mrs. Merle Smith in Bridgeland. Miss Naomi Gilbert came in from Provo to spend the weekend week-end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas M. Gilbert. Mr. and Mrs. Myron Mower and family, of Roosevelt, visited Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Milt Larsen. Dinner guests Sunday at the home of Mrs. Cynthia Larsen were Mr. and Mrs. Milt Larsen, Pauline and Gayle, Mr. and Mrs. James O. Larsen and family, Mr. and Mrs. George Chorn and baby of Salt Lake. |
