Show Sixty-Six Years Of Married Life For The Ed Harts The sixty-sixth wedding anniversary anni-versary of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hart was honored Sunday when their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish, entertained at a family dinner. Mr. Hart was born October 1, 1886 in Tioke county. Pennsylva-ni, Pennsylva-ni, and with his parents moved to Wisconsin in his early youth. Mrs. Hart was born in Neilsville, Wisconsin, February 19, 1870. They were married April 15, 1889 in Neilsville and came west in the early 1890s, making their home in Aspen, Colorado, a thriving thriv-ing mining camp. Both were employed em-ployed in the Aspen postoffice for several years and later Mr. Hart operated a livery, bus and transfer line. In 1909 he came to the Uintah Basin to file a homestead on the Bluebench near Duchesne. The following fol-lowing year his wife and daughter daugh-ter came from Aspen to join him. Mrs. Hart was assistant in the Duchesne postoffice for several years under Postmaster William Fitzwater. Their nephew and niece, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hart, came from Grand Junction to join in the family festivities, which also honored hon-ored the birthday anniversary of Mrs. Fred Hart that event falling fall-ing on April 9. During the afternoon after-noon friends called to extend - congratulations to the Harts. |
