Show Shower Honors Recent Bride Complimentary to her new daughter-in-law, Mrs. Dale Peterson, Peter-son, a shower was given last Saturday Sat-urday by Mrs. Thad Wilkerson. Between the hours of 2 and 4, friends called at the family home. The gifts were in charge of Mrs. Fern Peterson; Sharon Keel assisted as-sisted with the refreshments. Many beautiful and useful gifts were received re-ceived by the bride. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Jensen spent several days last week looking look-ing at farms in the Spanish Fork area. Mrs. Delia Spencer, who has spent the winter months in Kays-ville Kays-ville with the family of her son, DeVere, returned home last Saturday. Sat-urday. Mr. and Mrs. Roger Horrocks and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Horrocks, of Salt Lake City, spent Easter Sunday here with friends and relatives. rel-atives. Miss Mary Anderton, of Salt Lake City, has been a guest of Mavie Dye during the past week. Miss Irene Semadeni, sister of Mrs. Merrill Dutson, spent the weekend visiting here. She is attending at-tending the BYU. Bill Wilkerson, of Salt Lake, was a Neola visitor last week. While here he leased his farm to his brother, Thad, for the summer. sum-mer. From Mission Valley, Calif, came Mrs. Daphene Clegg to visit here with relatives, after attending attend-ing conference in Salt Lake City. Warden Olsen, who is employed in Salt Lake City, spent the weekend week-end here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Olsen. Easter visitors at the Victor Horrocks home included Mr. and Mrs. Irey Forakis, Mrs. Leora Peterson, Pet-erson, Mrs. Floyd Horrocks, together to-gether with their children. They all reside in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Johnson, of Salt Lake City, spent a few days here visiting relatives. Mrs. Johnson John-son is a sister of Mrs. Stephen Malnar and Mrs. Delos Dye. Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Duncan and daughter, of American Fork, visited at the Pat Duncan home recently. Ann and Marilyn Peterson, who are attending the BYU, spent the weekend with home folks. Rhea and Elna Allred, of Salt Lake City, visited here over the Easter holidays. Mr. and Mrs. Orlando Pace and family, former Neola residents, greeted friends here last Sunday while on vacation from their home in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Jack Leavitt and daughters motored to Salt Lake City to spend the past weekend with Mr. Leavitt, who is employed there. Mr. and Mrs. James O. Peterson left Sunday for a few days visit in Salt Lake City with relatives. Weekend visitors at the Ferris Henrie home were Coralee and Norman Maxfield, of Altamont. Mr. and Mrs. Tal Wardle were Salt Lake visitors one day last week. |
