Show Violet Gentry Bertha Angus Real Estate Changes Hands Real estate has been changing hands the last week. Mr. and Mrs. Darregan, of Butte, Montana, purchased pur-chased the Jensen property and moved in. Robert Marchant sold his property to Jack Spencer and left Tuesday to make his home in Provo. Jack Spencer sold two pieces of property this week, one to Ben Miles and his son-in-law, Mr. Shiner, and the other piece to Verlan Labrum of Roosevelt. It is also reported that Wilford McConkie of Roosevelt, purchased the old Billy Milligan farm on the Dry Gulch from Robert Murdock, the county agent. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Jones spent the Easter weekend in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Gentry and daughter, Pat, were Randlett visitors Sunday. Mrs. James F. Lemon and children chil-dren visited Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Nelson of Upalco, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Willis Lowry and family, of Kaysville, spent Friday and Saturday transacting business in Ioka. Ariel Michie spent' Tuesday in Salt Lake City on business. Mr. and Mrs. James Lloyd announce an-nounce the arrival of a new grandson, grand-son, born Wednesday, April 6 to Mr. and Mrs. Paul Lemon, of Vernal. Ver-nal. Miss Dean Lloyd is staying with the family. A lovely Easter program was carried out in Sunday School on Sunday. Quite a number of the young folks, as well as some adults, went on outings Sunday, celebrating Easter Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Gentry returned re-turned home on Tuesday after a three month stay in Roosevelt. Mr. and Mrs. Bud Whitmore, of Roosevelt, spent Saturday in Ioka working on their new house. Don Ames was in from Salt Lake City this week to take his furniture out. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Ivie will move in Wayne Ames' home to care for it. Mr. and Mrs. Marsh Donegan and family are now at home in the place they bought from Lloyd Jenson. The Jenson family has moved to Provo, where Mr. Jenson Jen-son is employed. Mr. and Mrs. Clare Benson have gone to Panguitch to live. Mr. Benson has employment there. Lloyd Jensen came in from Provo Pro-vo over the weekend to move his farm machinery out. He also brought in Carol and Adele, who will make their home with Mr. and Mrs. Devon Gentry of Myton until school is out. Dean Lloyd is staying with her sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Lemon in Vernal. The Lemons Lem-ons have a new baby, boy. They were once residents here. Speakers at Sacrament meeting, Sunday, were Harold Eldredge and Earl McKenna of Roosevelt, and Ariel Michie. Visitors at the Henry Nelson home, Sunday, were Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Sweat and daughter, of Vernal, and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Green and son, of Roy. |
