Show Randletl Viola Jensen Special Interest Presents Program The Special Interest class presented pre-sented the assembly program on Tuesday evening at MIA. Eugenia Pickup was the narrator; Shirley Pickup.the organist; Marine Mc-Mullin Mc-Mullin took the part of Joseph; LaRue Pickup, as Headline announcer; an-nouncer; Mrs. Ethel Durfee took , the part of Webster; Carol Lewis, as School Reader and Hazel War-die War-die was Mrs. Trollope. Richard Durfee conducted the singing and the program was under the direction di-rection of Mrs. Ethel Durfee, M. I. A. speech director. . The Avalon School enjoyed Easter Eas-ter hikes and picnics Wednesday. The children then enjoyed a two day spring vacation. Mrs. Carol Lewis took her daughter, Vicki, to Roosevelt for medical treatment, Thursday and will continue on until next Wed-nesday.- Mr. and Mrs. Bert Stoddard and two small, children were visitors in Salt Lake during the week. J. P. Stevens and son, Woodrow Stevens, of Salt Lake City, were overnight visitors at the J. E. Jensen Jen-sen home Wednesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Austin Wardle received re-ceived word that they have a new grandadughter. The proud parents p are Mr. and Mrs. Ray Wardle of Vernal. The baby is the Wardle's first granddaughter. Mrs. Jessie Pickup and son, Lyle and Larry Dudley spent the weekend visiting their families. Grant Jarman, of Price, spent the weekend visiting his parents. Martin and Beatrice Chandler, of Salt Lake City, spent the week-end visiting at the home of their 'parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Chandler. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Jensen, of Salt Lake City spent" the weekend visiting relatives here. Miss Veda Wall, of Salt Lake City, spent the weekend visiting her parents, Mr. and .Mrs. Henry Wall. Florence Barney gave the Relief 'Society Theology lesson Tuesday. I Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Jorgensen and daughter, Mrs. Nina Clark and two small children arrived home Tuesday evening from Salt Lake City, where they attended conference. confer-ence. Mrs. Leah Chandler and Mrs. Viola Jensen took their Home Builder girls on an Easter hike, Tuesday. A picnic lunch was enjoyed. en-joyed. Hannah Harris was a special spe-cial guest Royal Potter, of Cottonwood, California, was a visitor Sunday at the William Chandler home. lr. Potter is an uncle of Mrs. Chandler. Mrs. Marian Shelton and son, Duane, of Roosevelt, spent the weekend visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Jensen. Mr. and Mrs. Duane Wall and Mrs. Wall's two sisters visited Sunday at the home of Mr. Wall's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wall. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brough are ,the proud parents of twins, a girl and a boy, born Saturday, April 9th at the Uintah Basin Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Bryon Bolton, of Roosevelt, were Sunday visitors at the Bishop Durfee home. |
