Show Lynn Johnstun left today (Thursday) (Thurs-day) for Rock Island, Illinois, to attend a Bear Wheel Alinement School. He will specialize in alinement aline-ment and balance in his shop in Roosevelt. Mr. and Mrs. J. V. McLea spent the weekend in Logan, and from there they planned to go to Washington Wash-ington to visit their son and daughter-in-law, Lt. and Mrs. Jack McLea, Jr. Mrs. Burr Eldredge and children chil-dren returned home recently after af-ter spending five weeks visiting relatives in Shrewsbury, Mass. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. P. Knecht, surprised them when they arrived last Friday for a few days' visit in Roosevelt. Mr. and Mrs. Anthon B. Chris-tensen Chris-tensen and children spent the early part of the week in Spring-ville Spring-ville and Salt Lake City. They witnessed the marriage of Mrs. Christensen's sister, Ruby Twitch-ell Twitch-ell as she spoke vows, with J. R. Norton in the Salt ' Lake LDS Temple Monday. Both are from Springville. Guests Easter Sunday at the George Hacking home were Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hacking, of Price, and Mr. and Mrs. Max Hunting, of Vernal. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Edwards and daughter spent several days last week visiting Mrs. Edwards relatives rela-tives in Bingham Canyon. The new purple and cream colored col-ored Crown Victoria Ford seen about town recently is owned and driven by Arvin Labrum. Sporting a new brown and tan Chevrolet station wagon is Mrs. Gordon Harmston an early Mother's Moth-er's Day gift we understand. Heber A. Peterson returned recently re-cently from Spanish Fork, where he has. spent the winter months. Aria Dickerson " enjoyed the weekend at home with her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Wesley R. Dickerson. She was accompanied by a friend, Roy Miller. The Dickersons left this morning morn-ing to attend a Bankers' convention conven-tion -in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Earl Dillman and children returned home Sunday night after spending several days in Salt Lake City. Dr. R. V. Larson and family spent I Wed. in Salt Lake City, where he attended a Civil Defense meeting in the Capitol Building. Mrs. Johnny Cook, Carol Lynn and Julie Ann, accompanied by Mrs. Clem Labrum, Kay and Larry, Lar-ry, returned Friday after spending several days as guests of their sister, Mrs. Elmo Nelson, in Salt Lake City. Kay Labrum met Sheryl Mohl-man, Mohl-man, of Elko, Nevada, who was .with a group on a Temple excursion excur-sion in Salt Lake. The Mohlmans are former local residents. Mr. and Mrs. Denny Martin left last Saturday for a ten day vacation vaca-tion trip, planning to spend five days in Provo with relatives and five days in Las Vegas. ANNOUNCE ARRIVAL Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Stewart, of Spanish Fork, announce the arrival ar-rival of a baby boy, born last Thursday at the Spanish Fork Hospital. The little fellow weighed 6 lbs. 11 oz. at birth. Leaving Tuesday to help care for her new granddaughter was Mrs. Wm. H. Ruppel, Jr. Congratulations, Con-gratulations, Stewarts! Mrs. Czar Rudy and Mrs. Mary Beecroft returned recently from a three-week trip to Washington, D. C, where they visited Mrs. Rudy's daughter, Mrs. Rosamond Mansing. They also visited her son Don H. Rudy and family in Norfolk, Nor-folk, Virginia. Mr. and Mrs. Merrell Wilkins attended the wedding reception at Vernal, April 9, in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Hancock. The groom is Mrs. Wilkins' nephew. The Hancock family resided in Ft. Duchesne for approximately twenty years before moving to Oakland, Calif. Miss Eva Rae Eldredge, who is working at the Genealogical Library Li-brary in Salt Lake City, spent the weekend with her parents, the J. Harold Eldredges.
