Show UIIITEROCKS Madeena Smith SUNDAY SPEAKERS Speakers at meeting Sunday were missionaries Jennie Wood-ard, Wood-ard, Charlotte Henry, ArDell OI-sen OI-sen and Lester Gardner. Miss Henry also played a piano solo. Mrs. Helen Hendricks and little son are home from California where she has been attending sohool. Helen is visiting her mother, Lila Wilson, this week. Mr. Hendricks is still in California going to school and will be home in the near future. Mrs. Edith Oberhansly and her children were in Vernal attending to business Tuesday. Elbert Smith extracted honey from his bees this week. The last coat of oil and gravel was put on our road this weekr The Morlan Harvey family of Tridell were dinner guests at the Donald Simmons home July 4th. The Bill Workman family of Rangely visited the Bill Hoops family Tuesday. They left their little son to visit the Hoops for a few days Mrs. Ednal Simmons took her Beehive class to the Beehive encampment en-campment to Uintah Cayon last Thursday. Gary Worf left Wednesday by plane for Montana to visit his grandparents for some time. Mr. and Mrs. Walace TwitchelJ, Mrs. and Mrs. J. O. Hoops re-tunred re-tunred Thursday from a week's visit in Manila, Utah.. The Woodrow Rhea family of Salt Lake City and Robert and R. K Smith of Lehi, Mr and Mrs. Elbert Smith enjoyed a fishing trip in Whiterocks Canyon over the weekend. The Gilbert Ellingford family enjoyed an overnight outing in the canyon Tuesday and Wed. Mrs. Roberta Crozier and children chil-dren of Neola visited Mrs. Lela and Velda Anderton Friday. Larry Deveraux of Dugway is here to spend the summer helping help-ing Orvil Hoops on the farm. Mr. Norwood Hardy's Sunday school class enjoyed a swimming party, ball game and picnic by the campfire Saturday evening. Mrs.. Erma Sessions of Vernal and Mrs. Fontella Taylor of La-point La-point visited their mother, Mrs. Matlid'a Moosman over the weekend, week-end, also visited, at Church on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. William Searles of Salt Lake City is visiting this week at the Ruben Russell home. Elmo Hardy of Vernal visited his brother, . Norwood, Saturday. Wall Robb and Orion Smith left Sunday with three boys from Bennett for a few days fishing in the Chain Lake area. Gordon Merkley and daughter of Salt Lake City were overnght visitors at the Elbert Smith home Sunday. The Virgie Robb family received re-ceived word that Gale Rasmussen had had his arm injured very seriously this last week. . I |
