Show 60th ANNIVERSARY Mr. and Mrs. Issac Ross quietly observed their 60th wedding anniversary an-niversary at their home on Sunday, Sun-day, July 8. Mr. and' Mrs. Junior Betts and family visited with Mr. and Mrs. Grant Betts at Tridell Sunday, July 1- 'Betty Elmer of Ogden has been a recent visitor of Joan Angus at the home of her parents, Mr- and Mrs. Leland Angus. Betty said her brother, Blaine, who is in the Navy', was still in the Phillipines. The Elmers were former residents of Alterra. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Butcher and Mr. and Mrs. Sanford Butcher and small daughter, visited at the Wm. Holmes home in Vernal one evening eve-ning last week. Mr. and Mrs. Russel Todd went to Provo on Saturday to visit their daughter and' son-in-law, Mr. vind Mrs. Earl McKenna and small son. Mr. and Mrs Farrell Rasmussen, Mrs. Erna Stolla and Mrs. Ruth Sprouse were those from Ballard who attended the party given by Dr. and Mrs. R.vV. Larsen. Mrs. Axel Anderson of Roosevelt Roose-velt was a substitue teacher in kindergarten at Alterra, in place of Clair Hollingsworth. The Beehive girls of Ballard cancelled their trip to the Little Park in Uinta Canyon, to join the group from the stake, because Mrs. David Lundberg was one of their leaders. |
