I " ' . , . ; i K E -... - - - ' " ;' l NEWLYWEDS HONORED Mr. and Mrs. Gordon R. Eldredge 2 were wed in Salt Lake Temple June 28. They were honored at a e reception the following evening at the Neola Ward Chapel. Newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Gor-don R. Eldredge, are now at home in Roosevelt after their marriage June 28 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, and a reception the following fol-lowing evening at the Neola Ward Chapel. The bride is the former Deanne Asay, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Seth B. Asay, Neola., Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Eldredge, Roosevelt. Elder Raymond Clayton performed perform-ed the temple ceremony. For her marriage and reception the bride wore a waltz length gown of French impqnted lace and nylon tulle, underscored with with white taffeta. A V-neckline and stand-up coLlar enhanced the fitted bodice, with the long sleeves pointed at the wirst. The bouffant skirt of nylon tulle was detailed with a lace panel inset. Matching lace edged ' the veil of tulle, which cascaded from a tiara trimmed with orange blossoms. Mrs. Wayne Neilsen, sister of the bride, was bidden as the matron of honor. Attending matrons ma-trons included Mrs. Ted Jensen and Mrs. Sherman Asay. Bridesmaids Brides-maids were Miss Utahna and Miss Karen Asay. Afternoon frocks in pastel shades were worn by the atendants, who carried nosegays of pink rose buds and sweet William. Wil-liam. Mother of the bride wore a pale blue afternoon dress and the groom's mother was attired in cinnamon princess style dress. Both had corsages of pink rosebuds rose-buds and white carnations. Best man duties were assumed by Burke Eldredge, brother of the groom. Tal Wardle's orchestra furnished furnish-ed the music for dancing and Hollis G. Hullinger was emcee for the program entertainment which consisted of musical numbers num-bers and readings. . I For her going away ensemble the new Mrs. Eldredge chose a floral cotton print, with white accessories. Denver, Colorado was the honeymoon site selected by the newlyweds- The young couple will reside in St. George next fall, where Mr. Eldredge will continue his studies at Dixie Junior College, and his new bride will do secretarial work at the college. |
