Show Funeral Services The very large crowd who attended at-tended the lovely funeral services and the display of beautiful flowers flow-ers spoke the good will of the people. Bishop Golden Collins conducted conduct-ed the services with singing by the Singing Mothers and a chorus by a group of girls. Kine Hatch gave the opening prayer and Orlan Cook the benediction. Speakers were Ned Gines, Max Todd and Wendell Johnson. Burial was in the Roosevelt cemetary under direction dir-ection of Olpin Mortuary. Mr. and Mrs- Jesse Butcher entertained en-tertained the following at an outdoor out-door party at their home one' night last week; Mr. and Mrs. Sanford Butcher, of Sidney, Neb., Mr. and' Mrs. Lyle Butcher and family of Rosevelt. Mr. and Mrs. Otis Butcher and Walter Prince. Afton Mangum, daughter of the Squire Mangums. who has been employed at Oakland, Calif, for a while, has returned home-Janice home-Janice Neilson, who has been attending school at Denver the past winter has returned home. Mr. and Mrs. Arlo McDaniel have moved to Vernal where Arlo has employment. Mr.i and Mrs. Lyard McConkie of Altamont, Mrs. Pearl Jenkins of Rosevelt and Mrs. Bird of Bluebell Blue-bell attended Fast meeting at Ballard Bal-lard on July 1 to be present at the blessing of the baby of Mr. and Mrs. Junior Jenkins Mrs. Calvin Squire attended funeral services of a friend at Panguitch one day last week. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Winn and family were enjoying a vacation with relatives in Logan . and Hy-rum, Hy-rum, when they were called home because Of the death of Anthony Lundberg. CORRECTION: Mrs. Jesse Hul-linger Hul-linger returned from Arizona with the family last week, and Dianne stayed at Mesa with her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Brimhall. While on the recent re-cent trip the Hullingers also visited visit-ed Robert Crapio, the Indian boy from Albequerque, New Mexico, who had lived with them last winter. |
