Ottosen has recently been promoted to First Lieutenant in the United States Air Force. He is presently assigned as a Personnel Officer with the 3275th Personnel Processing Squadron at Parks Air Force Base, Calif. At present he is in charge of the sixty airmfen and civilians composing the Base Shipping and Receiving Section which receives, indoctrinates, indoctrin-ates, processess, ships and initiates initi-ates records on nearly one-half of the Air Force enlistees. Since entering the Air Force in December 1954, Lt. Ottosen has had responsible positions as Supply Sup-ply Officer, Unit Fund t Officer, Insurance Officer, Conservation Officer, Personal Affairs Officer, Training Officer, Adjutant, Overseas Over-seas Project Officer and Dispurs-irig Dispurs-irig Officer. , Lt. Ottosen was commissioned upon graduation from the BYU in 1954. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leland B. Ottosen of Roosevelt. Roose-velt. He is residing in Hayward, Caljf., with his wife and son. The son of Mr. and Mrs ard G. Dye, Roosevelt, Lt Dv was awarded the siler wings "of a pilot May 29 at gradual ceremonies for Class 56-0. He re ceived his commission throuoh the ROTC program and completed primary pilot training at Maram Air Base, Marana, Ariz, Lt. Dye attended Roosevelt High Sohool and Brigham Youn,' University where he majored it Chemistry. While at college, fc; was active in football and basket ball. |
