Show Stella Underwood Gusher Soldier Returns To Alaska Sgt. Neldon Duvall, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Duvall, has! returned to his base at Anchorage, Anchor-age, Alaska, after emending a 20 day furlough with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Spiers Wilson and family spent last week visiting' vis-iting' at the Bud Markey home. While here Mr. Wilson and son and Mr. Markey and son spent two days fishing in the Uintah's. Ernie Domgaard spent last week at the Baptist church encampment en-campment in Uinta canyon. He reports a wonderful time, although al-though there was plenty of rain the last two days. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Casto, from Salt Lake, called on friends in Gusher last week. Visitors at the Joe Arnold home on Thursday were Mrs. Artie Kimball, of Roosevelt, and Mrs. Robina Ferguson and Mrs. Hamilton. John Mecham is home ' after spending the past three weeks in Salt Lake City under the care of a doctor. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Giggey were in Lapoint on business Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Manford Arnold Arn-old and sons, Roy and Arthur, came from Provo Friday and moved their furniture to Provo, where Mr. Arnold has employment. employ-ment. Harvey and Oscar Neilson, of Riverside, California, are visiting visit-ing relatives here. Mrs. Eva Rushton of Sandy, spent last week here with relatives. rel-atives. Leland Wright spent the week end in ProVo with his family. Mr. and Mrs. Alex Duvall spent Tuesday and Wednesday of last week in Salt Lake. The G usher Women's ball team beat the Moffatt M.I.A. girls team Wednesday evening. The Moffatt ward M.I.A. girls beat the Roosevelt First ward women's team Thursday evening 45 to 5. Mr. and Mrs. George Arnold attended funeral services Sunday Sun-day afternoon for Mrs. Lola H. Anderson, of Altonah. |
