Show Mrs. Shelby Lisonbee Bride Honored At Home Shower i Mrs. Edna Shelton and Mrs. . Nona Rasmussen were hostesses! at a bridal shower Thursday ; honoring Mrs. Buddy Wardle, ' who before her marriage was Miss Mary Shelton. The program consisted of the following: Vocal solos, Sherry Dennis and Ludene Anderson, accompanied by Carolyn Dennis, all of Myton; Louise Liddell, accompanied ac-companied by Hazel Walters; piano pi-ano solo,. Mrs. Alma Young, of Mt. Emmons; jokes, Vernetta Meyer; a skit, Helen Neilson, Joleen and Lilly May Clayburn; piano solo, Hazel Walters. Delicious refreshments were served to about fifty guests. Many beautiful and useful gifts were presented to the bride. Out-of-town guests Included Mrs. Glen Wardle, of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Hazel Peterson, Mrs. Ada Fenn, Mrs. Bonnie Dean, Misses Sherry and Carolyn Dennis. Den-nis. Miss LuDene Anderson, all of Myton; Misses Elaine McKen-na McKen-na and Carol Schaefermeyer, of Roosevelt. Mr. and Mrs. George Merrott and small daughter, Adele. are visiting relatives in Montana. June and Mona Liddell are spending their vacation with relatives rel-atives in California. Mrs. Shirley Halladay, Mrs. Viola Shephard, Mrs. Elda Van-Mrs. Van-Mrs. Olive Neilsen and Mrs. El-va El-va Lisonbee attended the four-stake four-stake Relief Society convention at Roosevelt Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Neilson, Mrs. Chastie Neilsen, Mr. and Mrs'. Ervin Murphy and family attended the Beal reunion at Daniels canyon on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Alma Smith visited vis-ited relatives at Utahn on Wednesday. Emma Lee Brady is visiting-her visiting-her girl friend Jean Wimmer at Nine Mile. Mr and Mrs. Glen Purdy and family, of Peoch, Nevada, visited vis-ited their mother, Mrs. Chastie Neilson, during the week. Leon Walters, Blaine and Br-yon Br-yon Powell, of Salt Lake City, are visiting over the week end at the Malcolm Walters home. On Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm Mal-colm Walters. Ruth, Leon and the Powell boys attended church at Utahn, where the new granddaughter grand-daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walters Wal-ters was blessed and given the name of Linda Wright Mr and Mrs. Kenneth Clay-burn Clay-burn and children are vacationing vacation-ing at Yellowstone National Park Mr and Mrs. Merrell King and small children visited in Salt Lake during the week Week end guests at the Eldon Brady home were Mr. and Mrs. Q Rasmussen and daughter Gwen, of Salt Lake City. On Sunday, Mrs. Alice Warren and family, of Vernal, visited at the Brady home. Mrs Elda Van Tassell entertained enter-tained Saturday for her son, Boyd, on his 6th birthday anniversary. an-niversary. They also visited at the Dwaine Harper home in Mt. Emmons. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Clayburn and son, Roger, visited last week at Pleasant Grove. Glen Van Tassell took his wife to Salt Lake City Sunday morning morn-ing for medical treatment. Mr. and Mrs. Lyn Hansen and children, of Mt. Emmons, visited with Mrs. Hansen's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Wanless Shields, on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Delmar Ross, of Salt Lake, visited over the week end at the Glendon Lamb home. Adele Lamb, who has been visiting the Ross family, returned home with them. Frank Meyer Jr., Beryell Lamb and Jerry West are enjoying en-joying a trip to Moab. |
