Show TR1DELL Lorna McKee Cub Scouts Meet A Cub Scout Pack Preparation meeting was held at the- Owen Goodrich home Monday night in preparation for the' Pack meeting ' to be held in Tridell Thursday night in the recreation hall. Those present were: Mrs. Nolan Savage, Bishop Walker, Berniece' Kebaugh, Mr. and Mrs. John Daniels and Ricky Gagon from LaPoint and Ray Haslem. Mr. and Mrs. Morlan Harvey of Baggs, Wyo. were weekend guests at the W. K. Harvey home. Mrs. Harvey and children will go to Richfield to visit her parents for a month, while Mr. Harvey is in Nebraska going to school. WAS HOST WARD Tridell was the' host ward at the Stake dance Saturday night in Vernal. The MIA Maids and Junior Gleaner girls sang "Suddenly There's A Valley" during intermission. inter-mission. Speakers at meeting Sunday night were Shirlene Harvey, Joan Ross, Dennis Goodrich and Marion Morrill. Virginia B. Goodrich played' play-ed' a piano selection. Christa Ross accompained the Dale Anderson's to Salt Lake Thursday. They returned Sunday. Christa Ross was a substitute cook at the Whiterocks School from Monday until Wednesday of this week for Wanda Morrill. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Ross from Little Bonanza and the Duane Caldwell children from Vernal were visitors in Tridell Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Forest Goodrich and DeVon McKee attended the funeral of Wayne Roberts in Vernal Ver-nal Thursday. The Primary Officers and Teachers Teach-ers met at Theora Warren's home Monday night and quilted two crib quilts. Mrs. Tuila Hughes and family are visiting at the John T. Wilson . home. A Big dance will be held in the new recreation haU this coming Friday night to raise more funds for our ward building. Mr. and Mrs. Owen Bartlett and DeVon McKee attended the funeral of John Tabee in Ouray Monday. A Ground' Observer Corp meeting meet-ing was held at the chapel Wednesday Wed-nesday night. Attend Leadership Attending Primary Leadership in Vernal Thursday night were: Isola Haslem, Roselie Cook, Fern Cook, Wanda Ann Morrill, Tom Goodrich, Migan Harvey, Esther Harvey, Wayne Mooseman and Lorna McKee. The Bee Hive Class with their leaders presented the show, "Her First Romance" Thursday night. Proceeds will go to help the girls go on their trip this summer. Mrs. Rose Gilbert from Myton visited at the Jack Goodrich home Monday. |
