Show AMANDA ABPLANALP Funeral services were held in the Roosevelt LDS stake chapel Tuesday at I p.m. for Mrs. Amanda Aman-da Abplanalp, 85, who died Sunday Sun-day at 3 a.m. at the home of heri daughter, Mrs. Glenda Witaker, in Vernal, of causes incident to age. She was born Dec. 11, 1871, in Midway to Heber and Amanda Wardle. She married George Abplanalp Abp-lanalp Jan. 11, 1889, in Midway. He died March 21, 1950. For many years she operated the only hospital in -Roosevelt at her I home: ; She is survived by eight daughters: daugh-ters: Mrs. Lenora Axlegard, Price; Mrs. Luella Apostle, Bingham; Mrs. Nancy Burton, Mrs. Edith Laris and Mrs. Magrapha Hall of Roosevelt; Mrs. Whitaker, Mrs. Lola Holden, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Gladys Merrill, Waco, Texas; 19 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren. Presiding at the services was Alva Snow, bishop of the Roosevelt Roose-velt Third ward. Burial was in the Roosevelt City Cemetery under the direction of the Olpin Mortuary. MAIDA CESSPOOCH RANDLETT Final rites were held last Saturday in the' Randlett Episcopal church for Maida Cess-pooch, Cess-pooch, 22, who died March 17 in a Phoenix, Ariz, hospital after a long illness. Born in Randlett, Feb. 21, 1934, a daughter of Albert and Vessie Ioka Cesspooch. She graduated from Union High School in 1954. She is survived by her parents; and the following brothers and sisters: sis-ters: Mrs. Larena Wash, Mrs. Edith Ed-ith Sireech, Roy Bird, George, James, Irene, Clayton, Alice and Delbert, all. of Randlett. Burial was in the' Randlett cemetery cem-etery under the direction of the Olpin Mortuary of Roosevelt. |
