Show Masonic Rites Are Held For William Milligan Final rites were held Sunday, Aug 12, at 1 p.m. in the American Legion Hall for William Milligan, 78, who died early last wek of a heart ailment. The Masonic Lodge of Roosevelt No. 20, conducted' the services with J. Leslie Court-land, Court-land, worshipful master, conducting. Other Masons assisting with the services were: Leo Hancock, senior warden; Ted Thomas, acting Jr. warden; Titus Jones, chaplain; Lloyd Norman, Tyler; Tom Sweat-man, Sweat-man, Bible bearer and Wm. H. Ruppel, Jr., marshal. Musical numbers were supplied by Mrs. Lional Babcock, who sang "In the Garden;" and Mrs. Jay Fitzgerald and Mrs. Lyle Hintze sang a duet, "Beyond the Sunset." Speaker was George E. Stewart. Burial was in the Roosevelt cemetary under the direction of Olpin Mortuary of Roosevelt. |
