Show Bridge Group Meets Mrs. P. E. Church was hostess Wednesday afternoon at a dessert luncheon. Present were Mrs. Homer Ho-mer Robinson, Mrs. J. Wesley Jenson, Miss Alice Todd, Mrs. A. C. Tolboe, Mrs. James Dalgleish, Mrs Floyd Lamb and Mrs. W. H. Linck. Bridge furnished diversion with high score prize awarded to Miss Todd. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Todd were hosts at a dinner last Friday evening. eve-ning. Their guests were Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Wheeler of Whiterocks Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Harris and Mr. and Mrs Lawrence Odekirk. Dinner guests at the home of Mr., and Mrs. P. E. Church Friday evening were Mr. Myrl Axtell of Washington D. C, Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Massie of Ft. Duchesne and Mrs George Funk. Visitors last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Gustofson of Langdon North Dakota, Mrs. Tolboe's sister and brotheT-in-law. Dr. and Mrs. Ray Lamb and children are guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Rex Lamb. They are also visiting Dr. Lamb's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Lamb in RnncpvfH Mr. and Mrs. Charles Denver are happy over the arrival of a son born Tuesday, August 7th at the Roosevelt hospital. Proud parents par-ents are Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Link of Myton and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Denver Jr. of Ft. Duchesne. Sarah Bywater and Randy returned re-turned last week from a visit at the home of their aunt, Mrs. Sarah Sar-ah Ducker in Pocatello Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Gingell enjoyed en-joyed a visit last weekend from Miss Lois Gingelli Mrs. Fanny Jolley, daughters of Mrs. Gingell, and Mrs. Effie Mercer and Scott Linnell, all of Salt Lake City. Mrs. Tessie Thompson returned last week from Pocatello Idaho where she attended the Jehovah Witnesses Convention. Visitors Tuesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Lott were Mr. and Mrs. Joe Gayler and two children of Salt Lake. Mr. Gayler is a son of Mrs. Lott. Miss Fern Clark who is attending attend-ing a Beauty Culture school in Ogden spent the week end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs.' Carlos Clark. Mr. and Mrs. Wm Robinson and family of Salt Lake were weekend visitors at the home of his mother Mrs. Homer Robinson. Week end visitors at the home of Mrs. Jennie Taylor were her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Thompson and family of American Fork. Mr. and Mrs. LaVor Dennis enjoyed en-joyed a week end visit from their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Don Rawson and small daughter of Salt Lake Citv. Mortensen Sr. Mrs. Jack Goodrich and three children of Tridell returned to their home Friday after several days visit with her mother, Mrs. Rose Gilbert. The "Little Leaguers" crossed bats With the Roosevelt "Half Pints" at the Roosvelt Base Ball Park Saturday and returned home, victorious by the score of 12 to 5. Mrs. Roland' Burdick arrived Wednesday from Fort Myers, Florida Flo-rida to spend a few months with her sister, Mrs. Bliss Lott. Visitors Saturday and Sunday at the home of Mrs. Ole Peterson were her daughter and son-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Richard Bingham and three children of Magna. Mr. and Mrs. Acel Neilson and family arrived Monday from Far-mington, Far-mington, New Mexico to visit his mother, Mrs. Sarah Nielson. They also visited Mr. and Mrs. Har-ringer, Har-ringer, Mrs. Acel Nelson's parents in iRoosevlet. They all attended the UBIC during which time Sarah Sar-ah Nelson visited her brother and sister-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bird. Mrs. Marion Shields following recent surgery has been convalescing convalesc-ing at the ranch home of her daughter Mrs. Marion Ross on South Myton bench. She will return re-turn this week to her home in Arcadia as her daughter and son-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Zir-ker Zir-ker have arrived from Moses Lake Washington and will visit at the Shield's ranch. |
