Show " Gusher Frances Semken Clark Family Convenes New Year's Day and Mrs. Dave Clark had the following sons and daughters daugh-ters home with them for dinner on Nerw Year's Day: Jay and family, Lapoint; Keith, Vernal; Val and Donna Louis, Varnal; Jerry, who has just returned from a mission in Japan; Alvin Clark and 2 sons, Tane and Clarence, Clar-ence, of Price, brother of Dave Clark. There were 34 in all. hdir son, Lavar, and family, of Oak Harbor, Washington, al-'( al-'( so came in for the holidays. La-var La-var is in the Navy. Mrs. Stella and Pearl Under- wood spent the time from Dec. 1 9 o 21 at Tecate, Calif. They spent the Christmas holidays J with their sons and family in ' Los Angeles. They returned to 1 their home in Gusher Dec. 27, much improved from their trip, having gone for medical care. Marion Hackford spent a 10-day 10-day furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Hackford, and other relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Giggie had as a guest, Mr. Giggie's mother, from Boulder, Colo., during the holidays. Norman Hancock, Arlin Jensen, Jen-sen, Ernie and Neal Domgaard enjoyed a rabbit hunt Monday morning. 17 rabbits were bagged, bag-ged, after which Mrs. Domgaard hal a very nice dinner prepared for the h'1T,ors Prayer meeting was held on " Dec.; 30, at the Guy Underwood home. There were 12 present. Mrs. Wallace McCarrell spent New Year's with her husband at the Uintah Power plant. Mr. and Mrs. Everett Harrison Harri-son and daughter, Patty, of Roosevelt, and Mrs. Norma Bowen, of Hayden, spent New Year's with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Burns Hallett. . Mrs. Melvin Atwood, of Vernal, Ver-nal, spent Sunday with her mother, Mrs. Blanch McCarrell. , .. - Raymond Crapo came in from Ogden to have New Year's dinner din-ner with his folks, Mr. and Mrs. Loren Crapo. Raymond is attending at-tending school there. Visitors at the LDS church for Sacrament meeting were Draden Foster, Grant Jarman, of Rand-lett, Rand-lett, ajKl Oliver Jorgensen, of Leota. Mr. and Mrs. William Fergu- S0D.-aiwi-Mrv and Mrs. Richard Evans, of Provo, called on Mrs. Robina Ferguson Saturday evening. eve-ning. They returned home the same night. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Clark had their baby girl blessed Sunday by the new-comers' Uncle, Jerry Clark. |
