Show March Of Dimes "Kick-off IMA At Myton MYTON With fifty-two enthusiastic supporters present, Myton's "Kickoff" for the March of Dimes campaign got underway Monday night when a buffett luncheon and program were held at the Myton LDS church, under the direction of JoAnn Tolboe, Myton chairman, LaRue Lamb, assistant chairman, chair-man, and Ranae Hancock, Pleasant Plea-sant Valley chairman. A special film on "Mothers' March" was shown and brief talks were given on polio by Mr. and Mrs. Anthon B. Chris-tensen, Chris-tensen, county chairmen, who were special guests. A brief discussion on polio was also given giv-en by Mrs. Hancock, who presented pre-sented methods of raising funds to fight the dread disease. Musical numbers were given, including a vocal solo by Alice Smith, accompanied by Sally Burgess, and vocal trio selections selec-tions by the Anderson sisters. Assisting with arrangements were Beatrice Dennis and Lyd-ia Lyd-ia Funk. Plastic test tubes attached to placards inviting contributions to polio were placed throughout through-out the town on Tuesday morning morn-ing and final plans for campaign cam-paign procedure are underway, according to Mrs. Tolboe. County workers present from out of town were: Doris Chris-tensen, Chris-tensen, Boneta chairman; Ruby Fowler, Altonah chairman; Hazel Haz-el Goodrich, Bluebell chairman; Eva and Edna Hartman, Alta-mont Alta-mont chairmen. |
