Show Madeena Smith Sports Films Viewed At Christensen Home The families of George "Walk-up, "Walk-up, Virgil and Paul Robb met at the home of Marinus Christensen Chris-tensen on Saturday evening- and viewed pictures of the mountains moun-tains and fishing trips of the families, taken last summer. Films were shown by Elmond Wilson, of Tridell. NEW YEAR'S PARTY The home of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hoops was the scene of a gala New Year's party on Friday Fri-day night, where 12 couples gathered. They enjoyed games and a buffet supper. Mrs. Wilma Robb entertained her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Geo'. Walkup and Georgia to a New Year's dinner. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Moos-man Moos-man visited at the Virgil Robb home on Friday evening. The MIA officers met Wednesday Wed-nesday evening and made plans for the Gold and Green Ball, to be held on Jan. 23rd. Miss Jerry Griffin, of Salt Lake City, was visiting her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Griffin, Grif-fin, during the Christmas holidays. holi-days. Mr. and Mrs. William Harvey, of Tridell, spent Christmas at the home of their daughter, Mrs. Venice Hoops, and family. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Hendricks, Hen-dricks, of Arizona, came to spend Christmas with home folks. They plan to make their home here. Mrs. Alfred Christensen and children, of Lapoint, visited on Tuesday at the Jense Christensen Christen-sen home. A basketball game was played on Monday here between the Whiterocks and Randlett Indians. In-dians. The game ended in favor of Randlett. The bishopric of the ward made their annual visit to ward members on Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Rasmus-sen Rasmus-sen and children, of Clearfield, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Killian, of Roosevelt, were New Year's dinner din-ner guests at the home of Marinus Marin-us Christensen. Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Anderton visited Friday with Mr. and Mrs. Francis Crozier. Mrs. Lela Anderson and son; Chad, of Tooele, are here visiting visit-ing her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Moosman. |
