Show Mrs. Elhel Beebe Attend Funeral Services Sat. Those from Altonah attending attend-ing the funeral of Mrs. Margaret Margar-et Van at Whiterocks Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. Alpert Ro-chell, Ro-chell, Mr. and Mrs. Dru Allred, Mrs. Ed. Case, Preston Allen, Mr. and Mrs. Lavar Morris, Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Bowden, Miss Barbara Anderson and Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Beebe. Albert Snyder of Springville and Ted Snyder of Tooele spent the Christmas holidays at the homes of relatives here. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry spent the holidays with the'ir children in Bonanza, and Vernal. Their son Dan came ofter them Thursday. RELEASED FROM SERVICE Delar Maxfield after competing compet-ing two years in the service re- ceived an honorable discharge and arrived home Christmas. Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Stevenson of Mt. Home were visitors at Sunday School and Sacrament meeting Sunday. Earl Burgess of Salt Lake City spent several days visiting his brother, Glen, and sister, Mrs. Ralph Allred and families. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Clark and family spent Christmas day with their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Delmore Ivie in Strawberry. Mr. and Mrs. Dolbert Thompson and family of Heber came home with them to spend a few days. Willard Bowden, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Bowden. was taken to the Roosevelt hospital Saturday for what was thought to be appendicitis, but .was returned re-turned Sunday to' be treated for for a while. , Mr. and Mrs. Dennie Ralphs, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Ralphs returned re-turned home Monday night from a trip to Salt Lake City and Lehi. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Smith and family of Roosevelt and Wells Smith and sons, Frank and Chall, of Bear, Idaho were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Smith during the holidays. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Potts and daughters of Duchesne spent the past week with Mrs. Potts' mother Mrs. Elva Snyder. W. B. Stoddard of Randlett and Golden Bastian of Vernal were calling at the Gilbert Beebe and Clinton Bowden homes Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. William Ralphs received word Saturday of the serious illness of their daughter, Mrs. Gladys Morey in a California Cali-fornia hospital. Pvt. Dale Carroll left Sunday for Ft. Lewis, Washington after a ten-day furlough with his mother, Mary Carroll and his brothers. Ted W. Young, S.N., left Sunday Sun-day to report back to his ship, the U.SS. Boxer after an 11-day furlough with his family, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Dump. Mrs. Hardy Perkins was operated op-erated on in the LDS hospital in Salt Lake City Saturday, Dec. 23 and was able to come home Thursday. Her many friends in this area wish her a speedy recovery. re-covery. Mr. and Mrs.- Gilbert Beebe were transacting business in Vernal Thursday. Mr and Mrs. Albert Clark and family attended the funeral of Warren Me'cham in Duchesne Wednesday, Dec. 30.
