Known as the "Investigators' "Investiga-tors' Class," it deals with the Book of Mormon from the viewpoint view-point of the seeker of information. informa-tion. Neill Jensen is the instructor. instruc-tor. The monthly faculty meeting of the Sunday School was held in the Relief Society room last Monday evening. The lesson on "The Conference Method" was demonstrated and discussed under un-der the leadership of Mrs. Lee Jensen. Mr. and Mrs. Freeman Dye motored to Provo last Monday to take their daughter. LaVoun, back to school. Miss Dye, who I is majoring in Education, spent i the holidays here at home. I Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Glines and I family, of Vernal, visited rela- tives in Neola last Friday. I Dinner guests on New Year's I Day at the Joe Duncan home included Mr. and Mrs. Clair Duncan, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Larsen and their children. Mr. and Mrs. John Larsen and Mrs. Sarah Crozier made a trip to Union last week to visit with Jack Whiting, who has been ill. Mr. and Mrs Corwin Labrum and son, of Currant Creek, visited vis-ited at the Lester Gardner home last week. Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Jenkins and Mrs. Lyle Morrill motored to Salt Lake City last week to. meet the husband of Mrs. Morrill, Mor-rill, who is home on leave from the Navy. After visiting relatives rela-tives in various Basin communities, commun-ities, the Morrils left Tuesday for California, where they will make their home for the next few months. Visiting at the Jennie Woodward Wood-ward home last Wednesday, were Bertha Angus, of Ioka. and Thelma Cook, of Bluebell. After enjoying Mom's cooking for the past two weeks, Gerald Henrie returned to Logan last Sunday to continue his studies at the U.S.A.C Mr. and Mrs.' Theron Horrocks Hor-rocks spent the past week visiting vis-iting relatives and friends in Pleasant Grove, American Fork and Salt Lake City. |
