Show Crumbo Motor To Show New Plymouth Nov. 17 Plymouth's toigger and more powerful 1955 miodel ears will be displayed Iby dealers throughout itflie narbion beginning begin-ning Wednesday, Nov. 17, Albert Al-bert Crumfbo, mJanager of Crub-bo Crub-bo Motor Co', in Roosevelt, announced an-nounced today. The 1955 Plymiouthis are entirely en-tirely new, both in styling and engineering detail, Crumbo Said. They are lower, longer and wider than previous Plymouth Ply-mouth ears. They are the most powerful cars Plymouth ever built. The 1955 engines are a 117-horse-poyer PowenPlow six, a 157-horsepower 157-horsepower Hy-Eire V-8 and a 167-(hiorsepower Hy-Flire V-8. The latter engine also is available avail-able wirtlh a f oiur-toarrel carburetor carbu-retor and special manifold wMdh increases its horsepower to 177. i Plymouth offers as optional equipment a full range of automatic au-tomatic and power assist de- j Vices. They include PowerFlite fully automatic no cluitah transmission, trans-mission, a new design coaxial fudMime power steering, power brakes, power-operated front seat adjustments, power-operated window regulators, and ad-jiusta'ble ad-jiusta'ble speed electric windshield wind-shield wipers. Air conditioning by Airltemip also is available as special equipment. The 1955 line is made up of 12 models, including for the first time four-door versions of the Plymouth Surtaurfoan, the 1 all steel "station wagon' type car which Plymouth pioneered in 1949. |
