Roose-velt. Mrs. Roy Taylor left Wednesday Wed-nesday morning by bus for Craig, Colo, to visit her daughter daugh-ter and son-inLaw, Mr. and Mrs. Orson Rawlins, and her son, Glade Taylor and famiily. 'Mr. and Mrs. Otto Lloyd, of Ioka, spent Sunday afternoon visiting Mr. and Mrs. Shelby Lisonbee. Mr. and Mrs. Roe Smith and Children, of Salt Lake City, spent the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alma Smiith. Saturday guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Alma Smith were: Mr. and Mrs. William Abplanalp and Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Abplanalp, of Utahn; Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Young and children. Ann and Gary, of Mt. Emmons. Mr. and Mrs. Don Wilkerson and boys, of Salt Lake City, spent the weekend with, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Shephard and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Liddell. Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm Walters, Wal-ters, Ruth and Marilyn Walters Wal-ters attended Relief Society conference at Arcadia Sunday evening. Mrs. Malcolm Walters was a Relief Society stake visitor. vis-itor. Relief Society Conference Bridgeland ward Relief Society So-ciety conference was held Sunday Sun-day evening with Bishop Carl Van Tassell presiding and Pres. Delia Liddell conducting. Mr. and Mrs. Austin Beal are elated over the birth of their first granddaughter, born to Cpl. and Mrs. Dean Beal, of Seattle, Wash. Roy Taylor went to Craig, Colo. Monday to visit and bring his wife home. She has been visiting there the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Mecham and baby, of Mt. Home, visited their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Austin Beal, Sunday. Sunday afternoon . Mr. and Mrs. Mecham Mech-am and Mr. and Mrs. Beal went to Arcadia to visit Mr. and Mrs. LeGrand Gilbert. Darl Beal formerly of Bridge-land, Bridge-land, now of Kamas, spent the weekend pheasant hunting here. Mr. and Mrs. Ward Johnson and children, of Provo, spent the weekend with their father, J. R. Claytourn. Weekend visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Clayiburn were: Mr. and Mrs. Dwaine Baiich, of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Powell and boys, of Salt Lake City, were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Mailidolm Walters. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Reed Stansfield were Mr. and Mrs. LaVar Stansfield, Lawrence Beal and Oailvin Hamilton, all of Price. Other Sunday guests at the Stansfield home were Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Bird and famiily, of Bluebell and Mr. and Mrs. August Mrekels and family of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Thomas-and Thomas-and children, of Taibiona, visited visit-ed Sunday with Reese Clay-burn. Clay-burn. Jackie McArthur and son, of Provo, were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Vere Neilsen. Three former Bridgeland residents res-idents were winners in the recent re-cent election for county offices. Congratulations to Lyle Young, Leland Wright and Mrs. Max-ine Max-ine Burdick. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Fitzgerald Fitzger-ald spent -Thursday and Friday in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Myrl Smith attended a quilting at Utahn Wednesday at the home' of Mrs. Eugene Abplanalp. Mr. and Mrs. Alma Smith were Vernal business visitors Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Summarel and baiby, of Provo. visited with Mr. and Mrs. Joe Clay-hurn Clay-hurn over the weekend. The Primary officers and teachers quilted a quilt at the home of Mrs. Nelda Beal Monday. Mon-day. , Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kerr and small son. of Salt Lake, visited Sunday with Mrs. Kerr's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Barker.
