Show A Real Bear Storyl Told By Mr. and Mrs. Waldo I Hansen There was plenty of excitements excite-ments when it arrived in town, and many stories have been told by everyone. Here are some of the detalils. Waldo Hansen and his wife Loa, were hunting on the West Fork of the . Duchesne River with four other people, Dick and Betty Clark and Earl and Thelma Dunsmore. The party separated to make a drive for deer when Mr. Hansen suddenly sudden-ly came upon this bear about 30 yards away. The bear was moving directly towards Mr. Hansen through some very thick timber. Just as he moved over a log he turned his head and Mr. Hansen shot one lucky shot. It went through the jug-Jar jug-Jar vein in the neck and the bear dropped. Mr. Hansen used a 270 Savage gun. To be able to bring the 400 pound animal to camp they had to' cut a trail through, the thick timber and carry him on poles, because a horse wouldn't get near him. The skin has been sent to the tannery, where it will take approximately ap-proximately a year to make a rug. Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Denver and.
