Show Mrs. Elsie Bird Mrs. Archie Larsen returned home Sunday with, her new baby daughter from the Roosevelt Roose-velt Hospital. She spent a few days in Myton with her sister, Mrs. Frank Holgate. Mrs. Boyde (Vivian) Freston, of Roosevelt, and son are spending spend-ing a few days with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Archie Larsen. Mrs. Ora Holgate returned from Logan Friday, where she attended Leadership week at the USAC. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Maxwell, Max-well, of Talbiona, were visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Horrocks on Saturday. Satur-day. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Allred, of Reams, Utah, spent Saturday Satur-day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin G. Shields. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Shields, of Roosevelt, also visited with the Shields Saturday. The pheasant hunting guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Capson were Mr. and Mrs. Wilford' Capson and Mr. and Robert Capson, Mr. and Mrs. Harold McMasters, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kahley, Mr. and Mrs. Vance Kahley and children child-ren all of Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Byron Gilbert and family, Mr. and Mrs. Mont Ellett and family, of Provo, spent the weekend at the home of Mr." and Mrs. John Gilbert. Mr. and Mrs. Thurlo Richens, Mr. and Mrs. Art Larsen, Mr. and Mrs. Alma Richens, all of Salt Lake were weekend visitors vis-itors at (the homes of Mr. and Mrs. James O. Larsen, Mrs. Cynthia Larsen. Mr. and Mrs. Milt Larsen. They all enjoyed the pheasant hunting. Mr. 'and Mrs. Ray Scholes, of Roosevelt, were Sunday guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mailt Larsen. Weekend guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jensen Jen-sen were Mr. and Mrs. Ray Larch, 'Mrs. Bill Calvin and family, Mrs. Dewean Rotbis, Diane Di-ane and Mike, all of Salt Lake and Marie Roe of Green River. Bob Calvin, of Salt Lake, attended at-tended Sunday School and Fast meeting here Sunday. Melviin Bird, Jr., of Roosevelt, Roose-velt, spent the weekend at the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bird. Mr. and Mrs. Ward Evans and family, of Vernal, visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Chad Evans. Orvil Larsen A.M.3C left Saturday for Pensaoola, Florida where he is stationed with the Navy. Orvil has been spending a 30-day leave wlitth his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James O. Larsen. Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm Walters, Wal-ters, Ruth and Marilyn Walters attended Relief Society conference confer-ence here Sunday evening. Mrs. Hazel Walters represented the Stake board. ' Relief Society conference was held Sunday evening un- der the direction of Mrs. Gladys Ross. A very interesting program pro-gram was presented. George Evans, of Salt Lake is spending a few days With his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Scott Lusty. Mr. and Mrs. Marv Bell are driving a new Dodge car. Mr. and Mrs. Harley Evans and baby, of Uipalco, George Evans, (of Salt Lake, Doyle Evans Ev-ans and Miss Ruleen Doman, of Provo, visited Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Lusty. Mrs. James O. Larsen entertained enter-tained at a - dinner for Orvil Larsen, AJM. 3c on Friday. Present were Mrs. Olive Sorenson Soren-son and son. Orie, of Ioka, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Hadden, of Myton, Rudy Morti, of Salt Lake. Mrs. Charlie Bird visited on Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Clair Duncan, in Neola and with her father at the Roosevelt Hospital. Mr. Solmlonsoh was able to be moved mov-ed home, but has to remain in bed. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Ross, of Salt Lake, George Hackling and Floyd" Ross of Roosevelt, were pheasant hunting at the Lynn Ross ranch Sunday. |
