Show PREPARATION MEETING Ward Sunday School Preparation Prepar-ation meeting was held Wednesday Wed-nesday evening at the Ernest Betts home with the following present: Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Kettle, Fred Cook, Vida Betts, OrOJan Cook, Ema Stolla, Myrtle Myr-tle Collins and Ellen Bracken. Mrs. Florence Nielson and Garth Tietjen, of the stake Sunday School board, were visitors. vis-itors. Mrs. Marvin Kettle presented pre-sented the faculty lesson and problems were discussed. Mrs. Betts served cocoa and doughnuts dough-nuts and popcorn balls. Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Lar-sen Lar-sen .are the happy parents of a balby 'boy, born at the Roose-evellt Roose-evellt Hospital on Nov. 1. This is the first boy in the family for some time and all were thrilled over it. Robert Stolla and a friend, Everett Chellin, of Salt Lake City, spent the weekend at the home of Robert's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eric A. Stolla. They were here to hunt pheasants. Ercil and Alton Johnson made a trip to Salt Lake City Saturday, returning the same day. Leslie Collins, of Salt Lake City, visited with his mother, Mrs. Mary Collins, at the Ernest Er-nest Betts home over the weekend. week-end. Mr. and" Mrs. Garn Bodily and children, of Salt Lake City, were weekend visitors in Ballard Bal-lard and Roosevelt. Mr. and Mrs. George Gadd, of Bingham, were out for the pheasant season and were guests of the Gardners. Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Squire had their new baiby blessed during dur-ing Fast meeting Sunday and given the name of Lenore. Clarence Drury and son, Ernest, Er-nest, of Salt Lake City, were guests at the Ernest 'Betts home. They were out to enjoy pheasant hunting, but were called back home because of the serious illness of their father, fath-er, Ernest Drury, Sr.. Who is a brother4n4aw of Ernest and Clarence Betts. Misses Eva and Essie Sprouse who are employed in Salt Lake City, spent the weekend with home folks. Mr. and Mrs. Francis Show-ell Show-ell and Mr. and Mrs. John Mo-Cormick, Mo-Cormick, of Salt Lake City, were callers at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elton Kettle one day during the week. We were very pleased to have Mrs. Pearl Jenkins, of Roosevelt, with us in Sunday School and meeting on Sunday. Gary Gardner and Norman Rasmussen were home from the BYU to enjoy pheasant hunting over the weekend. The latest reports are that Mrs. John H. Cook, who has been a patient in the Roosevelt Hospital, is still on the improve and we hope for her speedy recovery. re-covery. Mr. and Mrs. Don Tree, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Offret and sons, Les and Lloyd, and Mr. and Mrs. Vince Offret, all of Park City, were guests and callers at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Stanley during pheasant season. Tuesday, Nov. 16 will be work day at Relief Society and all members are urged to be in attendance. |
