Democrats Certify Candidates For 1952 Election Duchesne County' Democrats this week certified all candidates candi-dates for the September Primary without a single nominating contest. Inasmuch as Marvin R. Michie, Mi-chie, incumbent commissioner chairman from Tabiona had withdrawn from the race for four-year commissioner prior to the nominating convention, this eliminated the three-way county contest for the four-year- commissioner com-missioner post. Candidates certified at the nominating convention were Ray Brown, of Roosevelt, and Ralph H. Halstead, of Duchesne, for four year commissioner; Ray F. Horrocks, of Duchesne, for the two year term; Lyle L. Young, of Mt. Emmons, for representative rep-resentative to the state legis'.a- . . i ture; and Clarence L. Ashton, of Roosevelt, state senator. i
