Show My ton Tips Foe In 3-0 Shutout The Myton baseball team held Bennett to only three hits in a 9-inning game at the Myton ball park Saturday, with Johnnie John-nie Jorgensen in the pitcher's box. The final score was 3 to 0 in favor of Myton. A baby boy arrived August 14 to bless the home of Mr and Mrs. Rex Lamb. The first bov in the family has a sister, Connie, Con-nie, to welcome him home from the Roosevelt Hospital. Max Odekirk and daughter, Linda, of Pasadena, California, and Richard Odekirk, of Seattle. Washington, are visiting their father. Lawrence Odekirk, on his ranch north of Myton. Mrs. Jack Gingell visited i.i Salt Lake 'with her daughters last week, returning home on Wednesday. While there ?he attended at-tended the Uintah Basin reunion re-union at Liberty Park. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Todd and family, and Mrs Leonard Harris Har-ris drove to Uinta Canyon early Sunday morning to prepare breakfast there. Thev were joined later in the day by Miss Alice Todd, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Linck and daughter. Margo, and Joan Funk. Mr. and Mrs. Morris Miller and family returned to Myton Sunday. Mr. Miller, who is Drincipal at the Myton Elementary Elemen-tary School, has been attending summer school. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Smitn and their two children, former My'.on residents, arrived from Ogden Sunday to take up residence resi-dence in the Wintworth Mott house. Mr. Smith will be employed em-ployed by Stone & Rushton, contractors, con-tractors, as a "cat" operator on the Indian Irrigation project near Randlett. Mrs. Herbert Christiansen and daughters, Danielle and Rellet, of Provo, visited recently at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Gingell. Mrs. Christiansen is a daughter of Mr. Gingell and made her home here for several years prior to her marriage. Mr. and Mrs. James Judd, of Coalville, visited their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Judd, jast week, re-turning re-turning home Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Syerl Dennli and children, and Mrs. Dennis' brother, Clifton Whiting, left Saturday on a vacation trip to Saratoga, Wyoming, to visit Mrs. Dennis' sister and brother-in-law, Mr, and Mrs. Lynn Duke. Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Dennis and family and Mr. and Mrs, Kay Dennis and family, of Salt Lake City, have been vacationing vacation-ing in the Uintah Basin. They visited at the home of the'r oarents, Mr. and Mrs. Syerl Dennis, when in Myton. |
