Show A Night Of Fun ... . Basin Communities loin To Sponsor Band Uniform Benefit Everything is all set for the big carnival and dance at Union High School tomorrow night, when the area served by Union High -will join together in a . y .V .fund - raising project that it hoped will accumulate $250u, the people's assignment to buy new uniforms for the band. According to R. O. Curry, general chairman, one half of the gym has been ,set up as a carnival arena, and the other half will be used for- dancing. On the carnival side various games are being set up such as Bingo, dart games, bowling, shooting galleries. Then there will be a white-elephant bootii, hot dog stands, cake and ice cream bootii, and various other ideas that are designed to raise money. The big attraction of the evening eve-ning will be the giving away at about 11:30 p. m. of a 15-foot Deep Freeze, being supplied at cost by Leavitt Equipment, Inc. Also on the prize list is a rifle and fishing equipment. Tickets have been sold in every community on the prizes. Various communities and organizations or-ganizations have been assigned the different booths and conces sions, and will, operate them during the evening. The dance is under direction of Loman F. Hutching s. Union principal. Lawrell Jensen, Roosevelt Jr High principal, is carnival manager, man-ager, .replacing Wesley R. Dick-arson Dick-arson who was called away due to the illness of his wife. A broad invitation is extended the public to join in the fun Friday night beginning at 8 p. m., and help secure suits for the Union High School Band. |
