Show jla point Mrs. Mable Jenkins 4-H Girls Spent 3 Days At Camp The following local girls took part in the three-day 4-H Club encampment in Uinta Canyon: Katheryn Taylor, Idella Barney, Bar-ney, Annie Turner, Dora D. Walker, Joleen Daniels, Nina Jean Woolley, Shirleen Perry, Aingel Savage, Arthella Bodily, Edna Daggen, Thora Angus, and Jeaneal Harrison. They were accompanied by their leaders, lead-ers, Wilma Angus and Agnes Walker. Harvey Lee and Rile Blackburn Black-burn were in Vernal Friday on business. Mable Jenkins and Lillie Bige-low Bige-low attended funeral services for Gary Winward in Vernal I Friday. They accompanied Mrs. Reva Workman. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Moosman are proud parents of a baby boy born August 14. Frank Jenkins was a patient in the Roosevelt Hospital last week. Mrs. Cynthia Taylor underwent under-went an operation August 12 in the Vernal Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Herman Dixon and son, George, and Mrs. Cora Sloan, of Kentucky, are visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Olie Justice. Mrs. Fred Hartle spent Monday Mon-day in Salt Lake, where she consulted con-sulted a doctor. Mr. and Mrs. Frank (Peck, Jenkins, Jr., and baby, Ilene, of Craig, Colorado, are spending a week with Peck's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jenkins. Sr. Howard Murray and his mother, moth-er, from Farm Creek, visited Mrs. Barbara Nyberg during tha week. Alice Jenkins is spending a week with her grandmother, Mrs. John Jackson, of Roosevelt. Roose-velt. Virgil Miller, FN. and Bill Kieren, FN, spent a 14-day furlough fur-lough with Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Gil-bert Anderson. They have returned re-turned to Long Island where they are stationed aboard tha destroyer U.S.S. Wiltsie. |
