Show Ilials Unite Janet EteSsey And Dan B. Call Simple wedding rites Wednesday, Wednes-day, August 13, at 5:30 p. m., united in marriage Miss Janet Kelsey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roland Kelsey, and Dan B Call, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Call, of Colonia DuBlan, Chin., Mexico. Bishop R. V. Larson of the Roosevelt LDS Ward officiated in the presence of the immediate families. The newlyweds were honored at a reception that same eva-ning eva-ning at Roosevelt Stake House. The bride was lovely in her ballerina-length formal dress of blue embossed organza, fashioned fashion-ed with a fitted bodice with tiny covered buttons down the front to the waist. The sash of matching material formed a bow at the back. She wore white slippers and carried a bouq-.ut of red and white roses. Her only attendant was her sister. Miss Mary Jane Kelsey, who chose an orchid taffeia formal, completed with a pink and white carnation corsage. Best man duties were performed per-formed by Dean Call, brother of the groom. Also in the receiving line to greet the guests were the bride's parents. J.Irs. Kelsey wore a grey sharkskin dressmaker suit and had a corsage of deep pink rosebuds. ' Receptionist was Mrs. Clarence Clar-ence Rowley, with Mrs. John Swenson in charge of the gif; room, and Mrs. Omni Winter-ton Winter-ton and Mrs. Van Winterton taking charge of the serving. Assisting in the serving room were Ina Hamilton, Dawn Brod-erick, Brod-erick, Sammv Summarell. Rhea Sullivan and Arlene Sullivan The lace-covered table was centered with a beautiful wedding wed-ding cake topped with a miniature mini-ature basket of flowers. Green lighted tapers were at either end. Arrangements of gladioli and other summer blooms added to the decoration in the serving room. . Friends of the bride assisting in the gift room and in various capacities included Edith Hard-inyer, Hard-inyer, Donna Todd, Dorothy Arnold, Ar-nold, Shirley Meyer, Joyce Mc-Kenna Mc-Kenna and Ruth Wills. Mrs. Norman Murphy was in charge of the program, which featured the following performers: perform-ers: Mrs. Garth Gardner and Carol Gardner, vocal solos; Eddie Ed-die Rowley, trombone solo; Catherine Rowley, clarinet sole; Renee Eldredge, reading. Accompanist Ac-companist for the musical numbers num-bers was Ann Payne. Following the wedding ceremony cere-mony and preceding the reception, recep-tion, a wedding supper was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Karl Johnstun for the bridal party. Mr. and Mrs. Call are making their home in Provo at 531 North 2nd East. He is employed at Geneva Steel Plant at the present, planning to attend the Brigham Young University after Christmas. |
