Show Roosevelt Ward Charts Course For Building Fund j According to Ray E. Dillman, chairman of the building fund ' committee for the Roosevelt LDS ward, plans are underway for the initial banquet which will start activity in raising funds to meet Roosevelt ward's quota for the new LDS chapel to be constructed construct-ed in the near future. The banquet, which is under the direction of the Relief Society, will be held next Thursday, Feb. 17 at the Roosevelt stake house, commencing at 6:30 p.m. Tickets j will be sold for one dollar per plate and the public is cordially I invited to attend. ) Executive committee chairmen are as follows, according to Mr. Dillman: dinners and food sales, Mrs. George Taylor; talent shows and drama, Mrs. Hank Swain; records and correspondence, Mrs. Omni Winterton; outside contacts and entertainment, David Wat-kins; Wat-kins; priesthood activity, Theron Leavitt. Each chairman is to submit a blueprint for future plans of his committee to the general committee commit-tee Saturday night, time of next scheduled meeting. |
