Funeral Rites Set For Pioneer Resident Of Basin Funeral services will be conducted con-ducted Friday at 1 p.m. in the Roosevelt LDS stake chapel for Mrs. Sarah Johnson Summarell, 87, pioneer of the Roosevelt area since 1907, under the direction of Merlin Sullivan, bishop of the Roosevelt Fourth ward. Mrs. Summarell died at her home Monday at 1:40 a.m. following follow-ing a long illness. Born April 20, 1867, in Springville, Alabama, she was a daughter of Thomas N. and Nancy Head Johnson. She married mar-ried James M. Summarell in Alabama Ala-bama on June 25, 1882. He died in 1920. Mrs. Summarell and her husband hus-band and family moved to Cedar-view Cedar-view in 1907. She spent the remainder re-mainder of her life in the Roosevelt Roose-velt area with the exception of four years she resided in Salt Lake City. She is survived by two daughters daugh-ters and two sons, Mrs. Ethel Brown, Mrs. Lula Lambert, Samuel Sam-uel and James Clinton Summarell, all of Roosevelt; 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Olpin Mortuary Thursday evening and Friday until funeral time. .Burial will be in the Cedarview cemetery. ceme-tery.
