Show School Notes LONG HORN ROUND-UP The band presented a very nice assembly last week, under the direction of Grant Peel. The senior sen-ior band played the following numbers: Two marches for bands, "Deep River Suite," "Hall of Fame March," Queen City March," and a novelty number, "The Three Bears," with Alta Ames as the leader. The junior band presented several numbers to start the program. pro-gram. The Junior High is really looking look-ing sharp with their new cheerleaders cheer-leaders and Pep Club. The three peppy lasses are Jewel Alexander, LaRae Sorensen and Karen Swas-ey. Swas-ey. The seventh and eighth grades have organized teams for playoffs play-offs in their own grade. It is really planning for Altamont's future fu-ture when these Junior High students stu-dents learn the mechanics to go with the spirit and interest they are building.
