Show Sale Of Plates Is Slow In County; Time Is Wasting License plate sales are slow in Duchesne County, reports Assessor Asses-sor G. B. Workman. He said unless un-less sales begin to pick up this week, many local people would be standing in line waiting to purchase their 1955 license plates. Assessor Workman sells license plates each Monday at Roosevelt, and at his office at the courthouse in Duchesne all other days of the week, during office hours. The assessor will continue to sell license plates until his supply is issued, which may be before the Feb. 28 deadline, he pointed out. Certificates of Assessments for motor vehicles or tax releases may be obtained at the assessor's of- j fice any day, from the assessor when he sells license plates in Roosevelt on Monday's, or from Mrs. Rose Marie Cook or Everett I Harrison in Roosevelt. |
