Show Moon Lake Co-op j Annual Meeting Okhes Debt Hike By Mrs. Louise Beadren ALTAMONT (Special) The annual an-nual Moon Lake Electric Association Associa-tion meeting was held Monday in Mt Emmons. Highlights of the day were a free show at the theatre; lunch, served at the high school, and a mass meeting held in the gymnasium of the high school. New board members elected were I. W. Cramer, Rangely, Colo.; Ray Brown, Roosevelt; Claude Wagstaff, Tabiona; Clyde Lambert, Lam-bert, Altonah; Fred Neumeyer, Lapoint; Bill Fieldsted. Boneta and Rue Miles, Mt Home. The Bond Issue that the debt load be increased from six million to ten million was accepted with a vote of 253 for and 74 against. President of the board, Ray Brown, gave the financial report and Ron Harrison, manager, gave a very interesting speech, in which he discussed some of the possibilities possi-bilities of getting television into the area. He also discussed some of the corrections for the irregularity irreg-ularity of power. Rue Miles presented pre-sented the treasurer's report; George Stewart, attorney, presented present-ed the call and purpose of the meeting and W. Grant Peel sang two numbers. The board will meet in the next few days to elect a president and officers within the board. |
