OF Af-llHICa OFFICIAL BOY SCOUT WEEK POSTER ' Boy Scout Week, Feb. 6 to 12, marking the 45th anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America, will be observed throughout the nation na-tion by more than 3,660,000 boys and adult leaders. Since 1910, more than 22,750,000 boys and men have been members. "Building for a Better Tomorrow" Tomor-row" is the birthday theme. Members of 95,000 Unitst through demonstrations and exhibits, will dramatize the purpose of Scout- ing and the rich heritage it has in this country. Boy Scout Week marks the completion of the first year of the National Conservation Good Turn the organization has undertaken at the request of President Eisenhower. Eisen-hower. Units which have qualified quali-fied will receive National Conservation Con-servation Good Turn Certificates of Merit awarded jointly by the Secretaries of Agriculture and the Interior, Ezra Taft Benson and Douglas McKay, respectively. |
