Show Elders' Party On Feb. 16 a party will be held at the Ballard chapel for all Elders El-ders and partners of the ward. .A, banquet will be prepared to be comprised of a Spanish menu and a Spanish theme throaghtoot ithe evening, with Gary Gardner in charge. Kenneth Betts, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Betts, is home on a furlough. He has been in Japan. After a 30-day furtong'h, he expects ex-pects to go to California tfor further fur-ther assignment. Mrs. Jesse Hullinger entertained a group of ladies :at a quilting at her home, recently. Those assist ing her were: Mrs. S. A. Brighton, Mrs. Thomas Jejjpson, Mrs. Ernest Ern-est Betts, Mrs. Golden Collins, Mrs. Russel Todd, Mrs. Cecil Jenkins Jen-kins and Mrs. Hollis Hullinger. Mrs. Ned Gines, Mrs. Olie Rasmussen Ras-mussen and Mrs. Seth Asay were speakers in Sacrament meeting on Sunday evening, Jan. 31. The stake supertendency of Sunday School, Ariel Michie, Evan Percival of Ioka, Neill Jensen and Don Horrocks of Neola, visited Ballard ward Sunday School. Mrs. Ralph O'Neil and Mrs. Phillip Merkley have been called to work in Primary, and Mr. Merkley is a teacher in Sunday School. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Gardner and family and Mrs. Effie Winn visited vis-ited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Morris Winn at Neola Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Jeppson and family spent the weekend with relatives outside the Basin. |
