ARIZONA The International iruck iesl fleet, rolling up an average of 34,000 miles per week is in full operation at Ihe rugged Phoenix Proving Ground of International Harvester Company, ii was announced The proving ground, located in the southern foothills of the River Mountains south of Phoenix, comprises six and a half square miles. Internationals turn out their test miles on X proving ground s new seven and a quarter mile paved test track, believed io be ihe longest such roadwav in the country, coun-try, and on a four mile dirt test track.
