Show marriage Rites lie's d in Elko, Nevada Of interest to local residents is the announcement of the mid-October mid-October marriage of Mrs. Virginia Vir-ginia Fenn, daughter of Mrs. Ben Miles, of Roosevelt, to Edwin Ed-win J. Davis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Davis, Vernal. Vows were exchanged Wednesday, October Oc-tober 10, in Elko', Nevada. Prior to her marriage, Mrs. Fenn was accompanied to San Francisco by Mr. and Mrs. Lamar La-mar Richman, where they met Mr, Davis, who has been stationed sta-tioned at Treasure Island with the U. S. Naval service for the past two months. For her wedding the bride chose a grey crepe afternoon dress and wore a corsage of gardenias and varigated rose buds. Mrs. Richman, her attendant, attend-ant, chose a blue net ensemble, accented by a gardenia and pink rosebud corsage. Duties of best man were performed per-formed by Mr. Richman. The two couples returned to Roosevelt Wednesday of last' week, and after a brief visit here Mr. Davis reported back to his naval base. j The new Mrs. Davis will con- j tinue working at the Roosevelt ; Cafe while her husband .is in : service.
