Show Oil People Join In Dinner Party In celebration of the 1st anniversary an-niversary of the completion of the Myton Pump Station on the i Rangely-Salt Lake crude oil line of the Salt Lake Pipe Line Company, the operators and employees, em-ployees, together with their families gathered Saturday to enjoy a social evening. A delicious dinner was served at a long table arranged in the building adjoining the pumping plant. Twenty-two people were seated to enjoy the feast and to celebrate the passing of the first year since crude oil started to flow through this station. Arrangements were under the direction of A. L. Schuckers, station supervisor, and C. M Stevens, station operator and relief re-lief supervisor, assisted by their wives. The faculty members of the Myton elementary school attended attend-ed the annual Utah Educational Association convention in Sait Lake City last week. Franklin Peterson and Russell Gingell, who are attending Snow College at Ephraim, visited their parents from Wednesday evening eve-ning till Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Devon Gentry are enjoying a visit from their son, Cpl. Bryan Gentry, who arrived ar-rived last week on a 30-day furlough. fur-lough. The young Marine is stationed sta-tioned on the U. S. S. Princeton with a Marine detachment, with headquarters at Bremerton. Washington. Miss LaVora Murray spent the week end with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Murray, coming from Salt Lake City, where she had attended the U.E. A. convention. Miss Murray is an instructor at Dixie College at St, George. |
