Avery Ward Chapel To Get Paint Coat Members of the Whiterocks ward painted and cleaned the inside in-side of their chapel in preparation prepara-tion for ward conference on Oct. 14. Work started Oct. 8, and a large crowd turned out every day to help. Lunch was served each day by members of the Relief Society. Keith Ellingford and Vergie-Robb Vergie-Robb were among those who drew elk permits. They were in the hills all last week. Stanley Hoopes and family have moved into the Whiterocks ward. They have bought ( the James Trujillo place. We welcome wel-come them into the ward. Capt. Avery, Walter Oruin and Elwin Duchesne spent Friday Fri-day and Saturday in Randlett. 'A travelogue on Florida, the Hawaiian Islands and India was shown at the Community Hall. They also did some repair work ' at the Church of the Holy Spirit. Spir-it. Mr. and Mrs. DeLoy and two small daughters, of Provo were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Al Betts. Mrs. DeLoy is Mr. Betts' daughter. Mrs. Robert Marimon, Sr., returned to' Salt Lake City this week after spending the summer at her home in Whiterocks. She will spend the winter in Salt Lake City with her daughter, Miss Rose Marimon. Alvin Duly and Capt. William Avery took a group of the Indian In-dian Art boys to Vernal to see the art exhibit, after which, they enjoyed a movie. |
