Show Mrs. Mable Jenkins 3 Boys On Stock Judging Trip Dale Harrison, Doyal Huber, of Lapoint, and Dallas Murray, of Whiterocks, left Oct. 6 for Kansas City to represent Roosevelt Roos-evelt chapter in the National Livestock Judging contest which was held in connection with the American Royal Junior Livestock Live-stock Show. Dallas, Doyle and Dale, as a livestock judging team, won the silver emblem award (2nd place) in livestock judging, and in the individual contests, Dallas won a gold emblem, 1st place) and Dale a bronze emblem 3rd place) for livestock judging. Tom Rowley, who represented Roosevelt chapter FFA as a delegate, dele-gate, got a gold emblem for livestock live-stock showmanship. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Taylor and daughter. Carol, of Bridgeland, visited Mr. Taylor's mother, Mrs. Roxie Taylor, and Mr. and Mrs. Charley Bigelow last Sunday. Mrs. Georgia Thompson, Mrs. Thelma Lee, Mrs. Frances Hor-rocks Hor-rocks and Mrs. Cynthia Taylor attended the annual Utah Educational Edu-cational Association Convention in Salt Lake City last week. Members of the stake M.I. A. Board who visited here Tuesday evening were Dale Openshaw, Alvin Weeks, Eva Markley, Mrs. O'Neil and Beatrice Stringham, of Vernal. Dell Yorkman, of Baggs, Wyoming, Wy-oming, spent a few days at his home on business. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Bigelow, of Salt Lake City, spent the week end with her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Thur-mer Thur-mer Rasmussen and family. Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Justice and family, of Salt Lake City, spent the week end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. O. W. Justice and family. Mr. and Mrs. George Jenkins were called to Salt Lake last week by the illness of his mother, moth-er, Mrs. Lizzie Jenkins. She was operated on at the L.D.S. hospital hos-pital Thursday morning, Oct. 11. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Trujillo and family, of Ogden, spent Saturday Sat-urday night with Mrs. Trujillo's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Merrell Rasmussen, and family. Bert Swain, of American Fork visited Sunday with his brother and sister-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. Orville Swain. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Hartle and son. Max, went to Salt Lake City Monday, where Mark will receive medical aid. Mr. and Mrs. John Prescott, of Neola, visited, their daughter, Mrs. Boyd Moosman, and family, fam-ily, Monday. Mrs. Edward Fitzgerald, of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Lo-vicia Lo-vicia Smith, of Steamboat Springs, Colo., spent the weekend week-end with Mrs. Smith's daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Sike Thompson, daughter, Diana, and son, Sammy. Mrs. Fitzgei-ald Fitzgei-ald will remain for some time to visit. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Yack and son, of Neola, visited Mrs. Yack's mother, Mrs. Caroline Thompson, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Harvey, of Salt Lake City visited recently recent-ly with Mrs. Harvey's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Merrell Rasmussen. Rasmus-sen. and family. Mrs. Ruth Williams, Mrs. Zina Anderson, Nellie Rick and Mrs. Retta McCarrall, of Vernal, visited vis-ited Margaret Harrison, Tuesday. Tues-day.
