Show Mrs. Ethel Beebe Legion Units EVIeei In Social The American Legion and Auxiliary held their regular meetings at the Legion home Saturday night. After separate business sessions, they joined for refreshments. Present were Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Jones, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Clark, Mr. and Mrs. Albert , Rochel, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Duns-more, Duns-more, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Fowl-jer, Fowl-jer, Clyde Lambert, and Mr. and jMrs. Max Allred, Mr. and Mrs. IMik Christensen, and Mr. and 'Mrs. Harry ieldsted, of Boneta. j ' j Pvt. Chris Kavros, of the U. IS. Army is on an 18-day furlough. fur-lough. He visited friends in Altonah Al-tonah Saturday. W. B. Stoddard, of Randlett, j was a caller at the Gilbert Bee-be Bee-be home Saturday. 1 Harold Morris, who has been employed in California during the summer, has now returned home. Gomer Reese and his daughter, daugh-ter, Bessie, of Orangeville, arrived ar-rived Monday to visit their son and brother, Louis Reese, and family for a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Junior Potts and daughter, of Logan, spent the week end with Mrs. Pott's mother, Mrs. Elva Snyder, and with Mr. Potts parents, Mr. and Mrs. Percy Potts, of Upalco. Mr. and Mrs. Hardy Perkins went to Salt Lake City Wednesday, Wednes-day, where- Mrs. Perkins attended at-tended the teachers' convention. Mrs. Wm. Ralphs and Mrs. Vendetta Clark spent Wednesday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Irene Berrett in Bluebell. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Friend and family and Eldon Friend, of Vis-alia, Vis-alia, California, are visiting their sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Powell. Mrs. Mary Carroll is building build-ing an addition to her home. Mrs. Clarence Smith spent the latter part of the week visiting vis-iting a sister in Provo. She accompanied ac-companied Mr. and Mrs. Arvil Stone, of Duchesne. Harold Morris left Friday for Vernal, where he has employ-I employ-I ment. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Case and family have moved into the Fern Anderson house. Mr. Case is employed at McKinlay Motor Co., Roosevelt, as a mechanic. Preston Allen came home Tuesday night with his elk. Ty Kolb and Corns LaRose did not get one. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Campbell Camp-bell and family, of Oregon, and Lionel Bowden, of Myton, were guests Saturday, of Mrs. Mary Bqvden. Albert Snyder, of Springville, spent the week end with his mother, Mrs. Elva Snyder, and other relatives. Nephi Smithson, of Neola, was in town Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Lowell, of Tur-lock, Tur-lock, California, and Mrs. Vera Hill, of Provo. came in Friday to visit their aunt and sister-in-law, Mrs. Elva Snyder. They took Mrs. Snyder to Wellington to celebrate the golden wedding anniversary of her brother-and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Hill. Mrs. Snyder visited in Provo and Salt Lake City before be-fore returning home. |
