Show Hartman & Sons Sell Sire To Shorthorn Herd Announcement was made this week by Chester H. Hartman and Sons, owners and operators of Crescent Farm, breeders of Milking Shorthorn cattle since 1923 at Altamont, that they had sold their herd sire, S. I. Crescent Cres-cent Pilot, to the Cash Valley Breeders Ass'n. at Hyde Park, Utah. The bull will be used in artificial ar-tificial breeding and can be had by contacting the various in-seminators in-seminators here in the Basin. The Cash Valley Breeders As-1 sociation was organized in 1948, and as of this year, has a membership mem-bership of 4500, operating in Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, Nevada and New Mexico. . During 1952 the association inseminated 31,-000 31,-000 cows.
